If you have not been to the Antique Center of Texas, you are in for a treat. With more than 190 antique dealers, this unique venue is all indoors and covers approximately 108,000 sq ft!

The management and store dealers are quite friendly and the use of a tripod is allowed. However, please be courteous of the shop owners and customers since this is a business. Who knows, you may also find your next prop here!

Join fellow HPS members on a Photowalk this weekend

What: Google+ Photowalk

Where: Tranquility Park

When: Saturday, June 30 from 10 a.m. – ?

A few members of HPS will join other shutterbugs around the area on a Google+ Photowalk beginning at Tranquility Park in Downtown Houston this Saturday.

HPS member Dee Zunker plans to get there at 7am to get better early light. If you want to meet her at Tranquility Park at 7am or 10am, please contact her via email: include your cell phone number, and what time you plan to get arrive. She’ll send an email this evening with everyone that responds.

January 28th field trip


Join us as we go on our first outing of the 2012 year. This opportunity features an old church, general store, jail, barber shop, train station, school and more in the feel of the pioneer days! This is a great venue for black/white, sepia, alternative print processes, pinholes, etc…
This venue also has the Pickett House Restaurant that serves boarding house style all-you-can-eat fried chicken, chicken & dumplings, country vegetables, cobbler, biscuits & cornbread and all different condiments for your liking. Please RSVP by the Jan. 25th with Nathalie Brouard so that she can make arrangements.
